Concrete Rust Remover Safely and Easily Removes Rust on Concrete, Stone and Masonry

The most common question that we get about this product is "does it really work?" The answer is yes. We looked a long time and finally found a rust remover that would work effectively on concrete and still be safe to use. It's not hazardous and will not harm grass or vegetation when used on driveways and sidewalks. It's ideal for rust stains, fertilizer stains and battery acid stains on basement or garage floors, walkways, driveways, stone or concrete walls, steps, bridges, paver blocks and more. It can simply be rinsed off with plain water. Biodegradable. Contains no phosphates. The powder, when mixed as directed forms a gel that works well on vertical surfaces too. 22 oz. powder concentrate covers approximately 60 square feet.

Directions:
1. Clean dirt from the surface to be treated.
2. Add Concrete Rust Remover powder concentrate to water as directed on the label. (22 oz. container mixes with one gallon of water, but smaller batches can be made at a ratio of three tablespoons of powder per cup of water. As with any product, we recommend testing it in a small area first.)
3. Stir until a clear liquid gel is formed.
4. Spread generously on rust stain with a paint brush or scrub brush.
5. Let stand 15 minutes or longer, depending on the severity of the stain. Simply wash away with water when complete. Repeat if necessary and apply a brushing action, if necessary.
NOTE: Only mix as much as needed. After mixing the rust remover loses rust removing ability over time. About half its strength is depleted in four hours.

Rusty Concrete Before Application Concrete after application of Concrete Rust Remover
Severe rust stains have formed on the concrete from fertilizer containing iron. Photo taken day after fertilizer application and subsequent overnight dew caused rust to form. After using Concrete Rust Remover a few weeks later the stains are gone and the driveway looks like new again! Please notice that the product didn't harm the grass and the fertilizer has greened the grass in the meantime.

I just wanted to let you know that I sent for your product a few days ago and got to use it today. I have been looking for years for a product like yours. I have used many things that would not work at all, even had to return them. The fertilizer I use puts rust stains on the sidewalk when the water runs across it. It has been looking very bad for years. Now we are getting ready to sell our house and the curb appeal was bad with all the rust stains. I used your product today and all I can say it does exactly like you advertise. It is like a miracle, the rust is there and than it is gone. I want to thank you for having Concrete Rust Remover.

I am sending you a couple of pictures before and after.

Photos of Removing Rust from Sidewalk

------------------------------------------------------

I recently bought a house that had six years worth of rust on the sidewalks from a well water supplied sprinkler system. I had tried scrubbing with a wire brush, power washing, muriatic acid, and scouring powders containing oxalic acid, but none of them had much of an affect. I found your online store after googling "concrete rust 'tried everything'" and decided to place an order. I just received my order today and mixed up a small batch to test a spot. Attached is a picture with the results after I power washed it clean.

Thanks for a great product! I'll likely have to place another order to finish the whole sidewalk soon.

Customer Tests Concrete Rust Remover on Sprinkler Stain

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I was with your product I recently purchased Concrete Rust Remover. There was some rust stains on the patio from some flower pots that had been sitting there a while. I was afraid my patio was ruined and I would never get those stains out of the stone. I was amazed how fast and easy your product was to use and it did not harm my flowers nearby. I highly recommend this product!

Customer Removes Rust Stain from Patio

------------------------------------------------------

Just wanted to tell you how impressed we are with your product. We tried everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!) to get the rust off our driveway, but nothing worked. We found your website and thought we'd give your Concrete Rust Remover a try. My husband and I put it on a small area and were amazed. Within seconds we could see the difference. After a few minutes, the rust was going, going, GONE! We called our neighbor over (who had helped us in trying to remove it) and he was blown away. How refreshing to find a product that actually does what it says it will do. Thanks so much for our clean, rust-free driveway!!

I recently purchased a small tub of Concrete Rust Remover. It managed to do what the professionals could not! With just one brush-on application to iron oxide stains on my driveway, just fifteen minutes later a water hose washed the rust away. I'm so impressed that I'm ordering additional rust removal products for my bathroom.
Thank you for the great products!

Several weeks ago my husband spread granular Ironite on the lawn and forgot to sweep off the sidewalk afterward. It rained that night and in the morning the sidewalk was terribly stained with ugly orange spots. I tried several other rust removers and they did virtually nothing. The spots only lightened up a tiny bit. I just tried your rust remover on my badly stained sidewalk and it actually worked! All of the stains came off with a bit of scrubbing. Your product is a miracle.
Thanks,
G.M.

In these days of more complaints than praise, I find it refreshing to tell you how pleased I am with your concrete rust remover. It did all that was claimed. I must have spent $100 on products that did not phase the rust. My thanks and I will certainly recommend your products.
Thanks,

This summer after fertilizing our front yard, my wife and I noticed a tremendous amount of large orange spots on our driveway and sidewalk. It looked terrible and we didn't know what to do. Through the advice of some friends, we determined that we needed a powerful rust removal product to remove the rust stains caused by our lawn fertilizer and ironite. Luckily, we found The Rust Store's Concrete Rust Removal product. The product was easy to use and with a bit of work, our driveway and sidewalk now look great. What a relief...thank you so much The Rust Store!

I just finished trying your Concrete Rust Remover and it worked beautifully. I was skeptical ordering over the internet, but your product completely cleaned the rust left from the iron fertilizer we used. Our sidewalk and driveway are stained all over and I have now ordered 2 more containers to finish cleaning them. Thank you for making a product that does what you say it will and so easily!

I didn't have much hope that the Singerman Laboratories Concrete Rust Remover would work on my fertilizer-stained front walkway because I had tried various products for more than a year with absolutely no results. Just 15 minutes after the easy application of your product I washed the walk and I was shocked to see that the rust had disappeared. Thank you for making it possible to remove another item from my "to-do" list. I'm spreading the word to all my friends.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how awesome your product is. About 3 weeks ago I used ironite to spruce up my lawns only to find later that it left horrible rust stains everywhere on the sidewalks and driveways. I went out the next day with scrub brush in hand only to find that nothing worked to get the stains out. I felt pretty hopeless but decided to google "rust remover". Your web site was the first one to come up. What a relief it was to see my same problem in the pictures on your web site. With my fingers crossed, I ordered 2 tubs of your Concrete Rust Remover. I used your rust remover on my sidewalks and driveway today and they now look as great as they did when we moved in a year ago. Your product worked like a charm, was easy to use and was a huge sigh of relief. I would HIGHLY recommend your product to anyone and everyone. Thanks for making such an easy to use and excellent rust remover for concrete.

Q. Does this product really work, we've tried so many other products?

A. Yes, Concrete Rust Remover is designed specifically for removing rust from concrete, cement and many other stone surfaces. We do not recommend general purpose rust removers for concrete because they just don't work as well.

Q. Does your Concrete Rust Remover work on stone?

A. We have used it on my different types of outdoor stone with good results. Flagstone is common for patios and walkways and we have found it to work very well on this surface. See Flagstone Example

Q. I see that many of your customers have rust stains from fertilizer, mine isn't from fertilizer. Will it still work?

A. It works on rust stains of ANY type. Rust stains from fertilizer just happen to be very common during certain times of the year. Other common reasons for rust stains on concrete include metal pipes dripping, rusted metal fencing, vehicles parked on the driveway and untreated water from a sprinkler system. If it is rust stain on concrete, stone or brick, it works.

Q. Will it remove stains from leaves or other vegetation?

A. No, it will not.

Q. Where can I buy it locally?

A. Concrete Rust Remover is NOT sold in chain stores and is only available online.
