Container Dri II is a desiccant aimed at protecting cargo during shipping by absorbing moisture vapor from the air. In doing so, Container Dri II reduces dew point temperature (the temperature at which condensation begins to form, causing "container rain"), keeping cargo dry and safe. Container Dri II absorbs up to three times its weight in moisture, and through an advanced formula, traps it as a thick gel. The adhesive backing ensures easy installation onto the walls of shipping containers or inside storage warehouses. Individual bags can also be placed between stacks of cargo. Container Dri II eliminates mold, corrosion, mildew, spoilage, warping and other harmful effects of moisture during shipping via container, rail, barge or truck. Each pouch weighs 125 grams. Generally, 32 bags are recommended for 20-foot shipping containers, and 64 bags for 40-foot shipping containers. The number may vary depending on shipping containers and the nature of the products being protected and the duration of the journey. Call for more information.
