Description: Cortec’s Boiler Gecko™ is a convenient ready-to-use Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI®) packaged in an air-powered spray can for use in the dry layup of small boilers and steam components. Boiler Gecko™ is effective for seasonal or long-term preservation of waterside and fireside components in boiler systems where the use of a Boiler Lizard® or traditional layup methods are not practical or effective. The VpCI® molecules will ensure protection throughout the boiler and direct application to a metal surface is not required. There is no need for product removal or additional flushing before the boiler is filled and returned to service.

APPLICATION
Completely drain and cool boiler. Shake Boiler Gecko™ well
before use. Spray evenly and consistently throughout the
internal void space to ensure proper distribution of the prod-
uct. No product removal is required prior to boiler startup.
When the boiler is put back in service, fill with water and
employ normal startup procedure. The remaining product
will dissolve. One Boiler Gecko™ will treat approximately 100
gallons (380 L) of boiler volume.
Package and Storage: Boiler Gecko™ is available in 13 oz. (384 mL) EcoAir® bag-on-valve spray cans powered by compressed air. To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C). Shelf life: 2 years
