Cortec VpCI-383

VpCI-383 is a thin (0.4-1.2 mils/10-30 microns DFT), durable permanent acrylic coating. It is designed for low build film thicknesses in such applications as dipping. Film uniformity ranges very little and remains relatively consistent from top to bottom. Designed for 1 to 3 years protection depending on film thickness and environment. VpCI-383 is also suitable for spray, brush, or roll.

Surface Preparation:

Product Preparation:
VpCI-383 should be thoroughly mixed prior to use as settling may occur over time. Use a dispersion blade for best results.

Product Application:
Product can be applied by spray, brush, roll, or dip. Normal WFT is 1.5 mils yielding 0.5 mils DFT.

Product Cleanup:
Use soap and water to clean up tools and overspray.

Limitations
The coating will become soft, and possibly delaminate when immersed in water of other liquids.

Packaging and Storage
Available in 5 gallon pails (Cortec Product # 12400492) or 55 gallon drums (Cortec Product # 12400493). 5 gallon drum weighs 50 pounds and ships under our standard shipping rates. The 55 gallon drum must be shipped by truck. We will provide you with a freight quote before we ship this product. Do not allow product to freeze.
