EcoAir® Biobased Outdoor Coating powered by Nano VpCI® is a biobased temporary coating designed for severe marine and high humidity conditions. It comes in a convenient EcoAir® spray can, and is classified as a non-flammable material.
EcoAir® Biobased Outdoor Coating powered by Nano VpCI® provides multi-metal corrosion protection and is temperature stable to 180 °F (82 °C). It leaves behind an oily protective film that does not dry.
EcoAir® Biobased Outdoor Coating powered by Nano VpCI® is a USDA Certified Biobased Product. It contains 65% USDA certified biobased content and is a qualified product under the mandatory federal purchasing initiative of the USDA BioPreferred® Program.*
EcoAir® Biobased Outdoor Coating powered by Nano VpCI® is available in 11.2 oz (318 g) net wt air-pressurized recyclable steel cans.
To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).

Shelf life: 2 years
Substrate should be free of grease, oil, dirt, fingerprints, drawing compounds, rust inhibitors (except Cortec® approved), or any other surface contamination that could affect adhesion. Cortec® recommends a minimum of SSPC-SP1 over painted surfaces. For bare metal applications, Cortec® recommends NACE #3/ SSPC-SP6. Consult Cortec® Technical Service and/or test system adhesion prior to full scale application.
Clean tools/equipment immediately after use with mineral spirits when coating is still wet. For removal of EcoAir® Biobased Outdoor Coating powered by Nano VpCI® applied to a metal surface, use a VpCI®-41x series alkaline cleaner/ degreaser. Follow mfg’s safety recommendations when using any solvent
